2. RULES RELATING TO VITISING MINIVERSUM
2.1 MINIVERSUM may be visited only when accepting and obeying the House Rules. By purchasing a ticket and entering the area of MINIVERSUM guests visiting MINIVERSUM accept the provisions of the House Rules as binding. Guests disobeying or violating the Rules may be denied MINIVERSUM services and in justified cases may be expelled from the MINIVERSUM premises. In such cases guests are not be eligible for a refund of their ticket.
2.2 Guests may enter MINIVERSUM premises and use its services in the order of arrival, with the exception of Guests who have a ticket reservation. Guests with a ticket reservation may – within the time window stipulated in the reservation – enter out of turn, as long as entry is allowed considering the venue’s maximum concurrent visitor capacity.
2.3 The MINIVERSUM premises may be entered and its services may be used only after purchase of a non-refundable, non-transferable ticket granting immediate one-time admission. Whilst on the MINIVERSUM premises, guests must keep the receipt or invoice received upon purchasing their ticket. Guests without a valid ticket may not stay on the MINIVERSUM premises.
2.4 Admission to the MINIVERSUM premises is possible only when maximum concurrent visitor capacity, including staff, is not exceeded.
2.5 Guests acknowledge that a security surveillance system is in operation at MINIVERSUM for safety reasons and that voice and video recordings may be taken for promotional purposes. Accordingly, upon purchasing their ticket and entering MINIVERSUM, Guests expressly consent the recording and publication of their face, appearance and actions, whilst their name may be mentioned only when expressly agreed to. Guests are allowed to take voice, photo and video recordings on the MINIVERSUM premises themselves. More detailed information regarding data protection provisions can be found on MINIVERSUM's website in Hungarian.
2.6 The cloakroom must be used in all circumstances. Luggage and belongings exceeding the size of 25x35x12 cm must be deposited in the cloakroom. MINIVERSUM assumes no liability for belongings placed outside the area of the cloakroom.
2.7 MINIVERSUM provides self-service lockers for its Guests. MINIVERSUM assumes no liability for belongings placed in the self-service lockers.
2.8 Guests with a fever or contagious illness or an injury or open wound, as well as Guests under the influence of drugs or narcotic medication or alcohol may not enter or remain on the premises of MINIVERSUM, not even when possessing a valid ticket. Such persons may be denied MINIVERSUM services and may be expelled from MINIVERSUM. Such guests are not eligible for a refund of their ticket in such cases.
2.9 Children under the age of 14 may stay at the premises of MINIVERSUM under constant parental supervision and only when accompanied by an adult, and may use MINIVERSUM services, facilities and toys only upon the express responsibility of the accompanying adult. Guests with a mental deficiency, visual handicap or impaired hearing may only stay on the premises of MINIVERSUM under constant supervision of a permanent attendant. Children under the age of 3 are not recommended to visit MINIVERSUM.
2.10 Persons in charge of groups of children shall be responsible for obeying the provisions of the House Rules and having them obeyed by children. Persons in charge of groups of children must extraordinarily attend to all aspects of the safety of the children for whom they are responsible.
2.11 Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire area of MINIVERSUM as well as within 5 metres of its entrance.
2.12 No pets are allowed on the premises of MINIVERSUM.
2.13 No food or drink may be taken into the area of the exhibition.
2.14 Waste and rubbish should be disposed of in the litter bins provided.
2.15 Any instructions announced through the loudspeakers must be followed by Guests under all circumstances. Furthermore, in the case of a fire or bomb alarm or any other extraordinary event, instructions announced through the loudspeakers or communicated by MINIVERSUM employees must be followed.
2.16 Pictograms and infographics displayed at the premises of MINIVERSUM contain safety information or other messages relevant for Guests. The instructions communicated by these are mandatory, unless the pictogram in question only relates to recommended behaviour.
2.17 Guests are advised to follow the designated walking route. The use of baby carriages is strongly discouraged within MINIVERSUM.
2.18 MINIVERSUM services may be used only at one's own risk. MINIVERSUM assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries or damage to personal property occurring during a visit if such are a consequence of irresponsible behaviour by Guests. Guests are advised to be especially careful when using the step-up rail path and to pay attention to the health and well-being of others! Guests must not behave in a way or possess instruments (such as broken glass, knives, scissors, or other stabbing or cutting devices, etc.) or play such games that may endanger one's own well-being or that of other Guests, or any objects or layouts displayed at MINIVERSUM.
2.19 Guests are requested to exercise care in using the premises, equipment and objects of MINIVERSUM. It is strictly forbidden for guests to lean over, reach over or sit on the railing placed in front of the layouts.
2.20 Guests may not touch any parts or objects of the layouts or place or throw any objects on them. Guests may not touch the curtain covering the lower section of the layouts. MINIVERSUM may demand compensation from Guests causing any damage on purpose or through careless behaviour, and in such cases Guests may be subject to legal claim for damages.
2.21 Guests may not enter any prohibited areas.
2.22 Interactive devices of MINIVERSUM may only be used properly and after their operation is understood. If questions arise as to the operation of the interactive devices, MINIVERSUM employees shall be approached for clarification.
2.23 After the closing time of MINIVERSUM, Guests must leave the premises as soon as possible.
3. RULES RELATING TO BEHIND THE SCENE TOURS
3.1 Guests may take part in behind the scene tours only when purchasing a non-refundable, non-transferable special ticket granting one-time admission for a designated starting time, which is declared on the day of purchase.
3.2 Considering the available space behind the layouts, in order to prevent the risk of accidents, only Guests capable of moving freely and safely along the corridors behind the scenes are allowed to take part in such tours. MINIVERSUM employees may forbid certain Guests from taking part in the tour in order to avoid accident risk. In such cases any special tickets purchased for the tour shall be refunded in full.
3.3 The maximum number of Guests allowed to take part in the tour shall be determined by the MINIVERSUM employee guiding the tour.
3.4 The MINIVERSUM employee guiding the tour may suspend the tour at any time at his or her own discretion.
3.5 Guests must not touch any objects during behind the scene tours unless expressly permitted by the MINIVERSUM employee guiding the tour.
3.6 In all other respects, the rules pertaining to visiting MINIVERSUM in general shall be applicable to behind the scene tours as well.
4. RULES RELATING TO USING THE PLAY AREA
4.1 The play area is not a child care facility, and thus children under the age of 14 may stay in the play area under constant parental supervision and only when accompanied by an adult.
4.2 Toys in the play area may only be used properly and after consideration of the drawings, pictograms and infographics relating to their use. If questions arise as to the interpretation thereof or to the proper use of the toys, MINIVERSUM employees shall be approached for clarification.
4.3 Please take care of MINIVERSUM toys! MINIVERSUM may demand compensation from Guests causing any damage on purpose or through careless behaviour, and in such cases Guests may be subject to legal claim for damages.
4.4 It is strictly forbidden to take toys out of the play area.
4.5 No food or drink may be taken into the play area.
4.6 In all other respects, the rules pertaining to visiting MINIVERSUM in general shall be applicable to the play area as well.
5. RULES RELATING TO USING THE CAFE
5.1 Only food or drink purchased at the cafe may be consumed in the cafe. Guests are served at the counter.
5.2 Food or drink must not be taken outside the area of the cafe or into the area of the exhibition or play area.
5.3 The restroom designated for the disabled may only be used by disabled Guests. MINIVERSUM employees shall be approached to collect the key to the restroom.
6.1 There is also a gift shop at MINIVERSUM.
6.2 Unlawful appropriation of objects in the gift shop is subject to criminal consequences as well as immediate expulsion from MINIVERSUM.
6.3 Prices for tickets and MINIVERSUM services are communicated on the MINIVERSUM website as well as on the information boards placed near the cash desks. MINIVERSUM reserves the right to establish prices for tickets and services, as well as opening hours different from the information to be found on the MINIVERSUM website.
6.4 MINIVERSUM assumes no material liability for objects and belongings lost within the premises of MINIVERSUM.
6.5 Guests are entitled to express their opinion verbally or in writing relating to the method or quality of MINIVERSUM services, as well as to the behaviour of MINIVERSUM employees. MINIVERSUM management shall examine any such opinions, complaints or recommendations in line with current legislation, and shall take the necessary action. Complaints including a mailing address shall be answered in writing. Guests may also contact any competent supervisory organs with their complaints.
6.6 MINIVERSUM reserves the right to amend these House Rules at its own discretion 3 days prior to such amendment taking effect.
These House Rules have been drafted in order to ensure the security, health and well-being of our Guests.
These House Rules have been drawn up and issued in both Hungarian and English. The English version is purely for information purposes only. In case of any ambiguities between the two versions, the Hungarian version shall prevail.
