Explore, behold and control it yourself!

MINIVERSUM is a gigantic, beautifully detailed and decorated model layout featuring many sights and landmarks from Budapest and Hungary – and a bit of Austria and Germany – scaled to 1:100 of original size. And a little more than this: we do our best to ensure you have a unique experience and great fun with us!

Interactive screens show original photos of the sights on the layout, so you can compare what we have done in miniature. You can control the ongoing traffic here and there and bring to life all sorts of actions, motion, sound and light effects. We pay a special attention to our smallest guests: they are welcome at the MINIVERSUM playhouse  with various creative activities corresponding to their age (and free of additional charge), whilst older visitors can recover from the astonishing experiences of the exhibition in our  café.

With its huge monitor wall, our control room is a stunner in its own right, where technically minded guests can observe the operation of the entire MINIVERSUM closely.

As a matter of fact, it is difficult to put into words or show on pictures what you are going to see. Come and experience MINIVERSUM with us, we will surely take your breath away! Let yourself be enchanted and you will discover that it is "just like the real thing", and how crazy and miniscule things we could construct in the mini world of MINIVERSUM.

Here you can check the map of the MINIVERSUM venue. Under location and contact, you can find information about how you can best get to us on foot, by car or public transport.

The MINIVERSUM Story

The MINIVERSUM Story

The MINIVERSUM story started in August 2012. Attila Kocsis developed the concept of the exhibition with László Vida and Gábor Martisz joining the team soon after. By May 2013 the technical and implementation plans for the Krausz castle on Andrássy Street had been finished.

Construction

Construction

Construction took place between 2 August 2013 and 15 May 2014. During the 25,000 working hours we used 20,000 screws and 15 km of electric wires to finish one of the largest miniature model exhibitions of the world!
